3.10.2. Setting the Measurement Units

The DigiTMR supports both English and Metric calculations from the breaker’s travel

parameters. To change the measurement units:

a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:

Press the [3] key (SET-UP).

b. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the [2] key (MEASUREMENT UNITS).

c. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the [1] key (ENGLISH) for English measurement units. The measurement units will

be set to English, and you will be returned to the “START-UP” menu.

Press the [2] key (METRIC) for Metric measurement units. The measurement units will

be set to Metric, and you will be returned to the “START-UP” menu.

NOTE

When the measurement units are changed, the DigiTMR will re-calculate the

velocity and convert the readings of test shots to the new measurement units.

For example, if a test shot was taken using the English measurement units and

then the units of measure is changed to Metric, the velocity and test readings

will be automatically converted to Metric.

Press the [3] key (ROTARY ENCODER) if you would like to set the measurement units for

the rotary encoder. The following screen will be displayed:

ROTARY ENCODER:

1. ENGLISH (In./deg)

2. METRIC (MM/deg)
